The tall urbane man looks at her ' You know your husband doesn't want me doing this. But this once I will'

Later that day Meren starts the journey to the Trade Post in Old Tarentia. Carefully picking a fairly free spot on the wall where wax tablets are hanging, charcoal messages are scrawled and even paper scrolls are pinned out, she attaches a large papyrus with elegant flowing script with a distinct Stygian flavour to it

- In seventeen days' time a feast for all who wish to come will take place at Tesso Inn. The wine and ale will flow freely, dishes of Aquilonian, Stygian and Cimmerian styles, plus those of other lands. There will be some entertainments provided.

All are welcome

The gathering is peaceful and the guards of Tesso Inn will be on hand. Peace - breakers will spend the night in the old tunnels with the rats and no ale.
