Just tried to complete "Ante Up" quest in the Eiglophian mountains.

Its the second quest you get from (Fiona?) the huntress just down from the Hunting Lodge.

You have to kill ten apes - take their hearts - then place them on a stone.

The quest requirements then change to "Kill (2) Giant Snow Worms".

Unfortunately only one such worm appears - and after having killed that one the quest marker directs me to the ravine which the Old Mammoth uses for his daily walk.

There is no sign of any other Giant Snow Worm there - or indeed, anywhere.

After the quest expires (timer), if I replace the hearts on the stone, the process repeats - still only ONE Giant Snow Worm.

Every time in the past I've done this quest TWO GSW's appeared - I've hesitated to report the bug untill I can confirm that Funcom have not moved the second one to a place beyond my ken.

Anyone having the same problem - or a solution - or is it a bug?

I Have just had exactly the same problem, one worm appears and no sign of the other one.....

I had this problem earlier today, petition a GM and he'll fix it for you, they knew about it already and are working to fix it.

I was struggling with the same thing, but then on my 3rd or 4th try i just ran around killing all worms i saw and poof, it was suddenly done. Beats me how though

Man this quest is really starting to bug me.. First few times i did it i thought the second worm had spawned before i got to it and had been killed by the ganksquad patrolling the area.
Then i saw here that it was bugged and i petitioned a GM. Made a few attempts after that first petition 'cos i wasn't sure how fast they would respond, and if i'd know when they'd fixed it for me.
Logged out and came back a few hours later and petitioned again, this time a GM revealed himself just in front of my face as i was killing the first worm, said "Hey mate" and he said "Hi" back and restealthed. Proceeded to spawnsite of the second worm and got...
Nothing.
Waited until the quest timed out and i restarted the whole thing just to make sure the GM would be a part of the entire quest chain.
Nothing.
Petitioned again and said that GM Xxxx had just been there and nothing happend, asked if i did something wrong and then i tried it again a few more times.
Guess what?

Very strange... I've now managed to complete the quest!

As I was passing the stone that you stick the ape's heart on I noticed there were quite a few ice - worms patrolling (that is - near the stone - rather than on the nearby ice plateau.)

I crept up and realised that several of them were Giant Snow Worms (i.e. those required to complete the quest once you've placed the ape heart.)

So in I went

Placed the heart (whilst being attacked) and then proceeded to kill the Giant Snow Worms.

Wonder of wonders - the quest completed - meanwhile the generation of new GSW's seemed to continue unabated! - after I'd killed about four (or more) I decided to retreat

So... I don't know whether FC have snuck a quick fix in (i.e. spawn point for GSW's) OR whether this a new and / or different bug?
