I really think as a cimmerian guardian myself that there should be more race specific designs. As a cimmerian i do not want to look like some reject roman centurion just because all the aquilonian guardians prefer that.
Give me some full plate armour with furs and animal skins attatched to it dammit! And god please remove the skirts...unless its a kilt its only a skirt and i feel like a right pansy raiding in a skirt. I'm a tank class aren't i? so why in gods name does half the Guardian armour all have skirts...
You don't want to make it look medieval style and you link that?! Seeing as FC have opted for a more ancient look to armour (REH described medieval armour in some of his stories) something like these would do:

And the skirt defintly dont look full plate.The Helm like someone said dont look like guard gear. And the shield looks like a mask and is to small
Other then that it looks ok.
In my opinion guard epic set "looks" like a barbarian in this outfit.And the barb class epic it self...well go have a look
