If this PVP patch goes live as it is now in tstlive, it will be fun, but it will be an abysmal disgrace for those not in big guilds, and it will too be a massive failure for those that are hardcore LEGIT players...why may you ask?
1) PvP minigames do NOT give pvp exp when you win, instead you only get points for the kills, and you get unlimited points from the enemy if you gank them at the rez point. The objective to the minigame is no longer to have strategy, skill, or any form of intelligance, infact its best to have none...just get yourself a Massive DPS group (Pom Tos BS and a few guards) Then you have enough heals and dps to gank them until the timer runs, or until they quit. Also the too serious guilds in the servers(those who will do anything i.e. cheat and bug to be the best) will be cheating the system by killing their lower pvp level guildies over and over at level 10 pvp, the ranks after level 10 will only be occupied by these ''rank-ups'' who arrange free pvp points all day by ganking their own guild.
2) Rez ganking is constant, people stand at the rez point....they did change the guards dps in khes, but the truth is its only 125-200 dps, easily healed, and in a group you can still ignore the guards and just rez gank on every server. They have not yet solved rez ganking at all, khes oasis will be a disgrace, a place to avoid unless zerged, and a pointless free-pvp exp area.
3) Murder status is broken, it doesnt go off, not does it have any impact on the player when he is killed. He doesnt drop gold ro an item as intended, infact until it works it isnt even worth having, as it makes no change except that you cant deal with npc's...which you cannot do anyway as criminal.
4) there is no stopping the killing of lowbies, you will become am murderer 100 times faster by doing so, but as said murder status does nothing and is bugged and broken on testlive
5) Guardians can still do the pre-load combo> active block > charge > trigger skewer combo.....this hits for a possible 3600 damage, making guardians highly overpowered and still very able to one-shot....and seeing their class has the highest HP, highest survivability, and highest DPS....the balance is still nowhere near complete. Why be a conq when guards are 10x better at dps and surviving, infact guardian + bear shaman or tos is a rediculous combination of OP.
6) The spawning of pets upon ressurection has not yet been fixed, It was fixed on testlive a few patches ago, but they seem to have broken it again :/ Pets no longer zone or resurrect when you do, therefore the pet buff for regen - the most useful buff- is not active, and survivability upon resserection is massively decreased.
7) They have made possession useless, you cant attack the player who is possessed, it makes him your pet and makes him follow you. Quite random, if you mind control your grouies should be able to attack, or you should be able to command him to do dmaage to his own party.
8) Spellweaving still bugs a lot, you get stuck in animation after de-activating spellweaving. If you do spellweaving you are likely to get bugged and then you cant move for at least 10 seconds, nor can you pot or move, your just a sitting duck with very very very little HP.
Im hoping some of these are fixed asap, or else the pvp exp will be pointless and worthless, the top pvpers will be noobs who ranked up their points contstantly in ganker-games. One-hits will still exist, and its incredible that the class that is considered the ''tank that does constant low damage'' can oneshot most cloth classes and has a stun chargge that lasts 6 seconds.
