Low survivability = High DPS??? Im not sure if you checked your combat log recently, or even tried to avoid a demo's spell by using LOS, but with a 5 second cast we a capable of doing possibly 0 damage, combine that with the immunities of CC's, and the fact that every melee class has a slow ability and charge that you cannot be immune to....and youve get a ranged dps melee class with uber CC's.
Well you can just check the casting time-dps ratio of demo's, and compare that to the preloaded combos of other melee classes......you will see we are not at all strong in comparison, and with all 2.700 HP we sure are worth rolling right? ¬¬
Well all's I can say is, we are the worst casters in the game for DPS/DMG, we have a single chance to burst but that damage is only half of what a healer can heal, and seeing that TOS and POMs can do as much spell damage with a 2-3 second cast, if not more....and the demo cannot heal (rightfully so but rather stupid to make POMs and TOS the best casters ingame) then you can truely see the viability of our sad, low HP, low surivvability, rather lame burst dps class :C#
and yeh I forgot, the NECRO PETS - they never die after the next pvp patch, they do nice DPS when they are following you all around the map and you cannot get rid of them, and when the necro dies, the pets do not.......where as with the demo, the pet still does around 20-30 dps and dies when the demo him/herself dies, but respawns at the respawn point. and oh yeh, you cant kill necro pets >_> (from my experiance on testlive)
