Necro, demo and tos is several times stronger and easier to play than hox, thats for sure. On my demonologist I get happy everytime I get jumped by an assassin, cause it means free pvp xp, but on my hox I get trouble.

Thought otherwise I'd say hox is a strong class.

Yeah the guide is very outdated It is from pre 1.03 or something I think. Your build is solid, but take 2 points out of fiery weapons, and one point out of Fury of Xotli and max out phoenix wings.

Unspecced it reduces all damage you take with 50%, and your movement speed and damage is also lowered with 50%. You take 65% more cold damage, but because the damage reduction comes in addition you take 17,5% less cold damage. But if you spec Phoenix Wings the penalty is reduced to 20%.
