It took me some deaths to find out how to use the 4 gems against him. I did the trick by keeping attention to the color the circle has around him. It goes like that:
- purple circle -> click the unholy resist gem
- white circle -> click the holy resist gem
- red circle -> click the fire resist gem
- blue circle -> click the ice resist gem

This is the rotation he's following for his one-shot spell. So start by clicking the unholy resist gem and keep attention on the circles or his buff bar as ciante pointed out. Definetly the best solo fight in the whole game.

There's also buff icon indicator (near target's combo/spell bar) telling the same.

i have see that if you go at the corners can't hit you,except if he see you and use some other moves like to summon an undead or catch you with chains.but this attack with 2000 dmg is unstoppable

You don't say. When I try to protect myself from his nukes when I start attacking the Oracle, I am told I cannot do that when the deamon is not around. So Whosh... He comes and *BANG* nuked into oblivion, before I can even hit the shortcut key for activating the ward. 1874 unholy damage, just 700 more than what I have alltogether.

Indeed it's a bit stupid. I tried him like 15 times, only once I was able to cast the protection gem BEFORE he actually nuked me. And I was spamming it like madman when oracle was about 50%.

Fortunately guardians are phat and sturdy, so I was able to finish him off starting an epic fight with only 400 HP left

Just cleared on my Necro alt at level 39. It was a tough encounter but very enjoyable and it really felt like a boss fight worthy of Age of Conan, although slightly frustrating until I worked out the trick after 10-15 deaths.

I also did Treasury of the Ancients and was blown away by the changes. This is my favourite instance and Funcom have done a fantastic job at creating a really spooky dungeon that really feels like it came out of a Conan book! Here's hoping for more content like this across more level ranges, and especially raids!

ive tried this instance today for the first time, and went through the whole thing. but i have recived none of the so called resist stones everyone talks about. done all the quests i had in there as well. around 6 of em i think. anyone know where the stones are?

- Each manifestation of the Oracle on the way up to the boss is different.

- Each Oracle when defeated drops its corresponding Gem.

- 4 In total. Unholy, Holy, Fire & Ice

- Unholy on the first floor.
- Holy on the second floor.
- Fire & Ice you get right at the end(ish)

Well I used the oldest trick in the necromantic book. Hid behind a column in the corner and had my pets kill him. I just took care of the minions he sends. He didn't do anything to kill me once I was out of his line of sight. And I'm not proud of the method I used.

Today I'll try with my HOX and see how it goes.
