Instructions
First you need the
UI Installer
To avoid problems you should always use this handy tool.
- Close Age of Conan before moving on. If you try to install the UI when AOC is running the client may show older cached Images or uses old bxml files.
- Before installing Corruption you should rename your customized folder. (Age of Conan/Data/Gui/)
Just rename it to "_customized"
Now start the UI Installer:
- Select "Install" and youre done! Start Age of Conan and enjoy.
- If you want to test other bar layouts you should always use the UI Installer. You can do this while the game is running using the /reloadui chatcommand.
Please do not ask for help if you didnt use the UIInstaller or not follow these simple instructions!
FAQ
Q: My Playerportrait frames are not at the right position!
A: Use the UI Installer and MAKE SURE YOU DELETE OR RENAME your /customized folder before installing.
Q: I can not keybind the first bar from the bottombar?
A: If you use one of the 3xRow layouts than the first bottombarrow will not be bindable by default. V2.1 inculde 2 more Layouts for the 3x17 Versions. Those are fully bindable ... you will then loose the bindings on the floatingbars and may see wrong shortcuts on the floatingbars as well. You will find the new 2 layouts in the dropdown menu on the Uiinstaller (3x17_normal/small-no_binding_on_floatingbars)
Q: Cant move or see the Castingbars?
A: Type /cor in your ingame chat. An option script window will open. Select the first entry "DisplayTimerBar - ON". The castbars will now show up. If they dont, they usually behind the bottombars. Try reloading the UI or log out of the game and do not let the logout timer end.
Q: Everytime i log in to the game my castbars are at the default position. How can i avoid it?
A: This is an anoying bug and will happen with the default ui too. try to follow

A: Use another UI! Maybe

Q: Can you make a 4-5-6 Row-bottombar with XXXhundrets of mapable Buttons?
A: Ähmm .. NO!
Q: Your first version of the mod was cool but i dont like v2. Can you please make v1 work with the actual game client?
A: NO. Feel free to download the old version and make the needed changes by yourself to make it work. I will not support v1 anymore!
Q: After the latest game-update i get errors that the xml files are out of date!
A: Use
AOC UI Installer to Update Revision Numbers.
Q: When i press M the region/worldmap did not shows up
A: sometimes the map moves out of the screen area. Most times this happend when switching game resolution. You should restart your client then.
Q: I like to play with only the floating target/player portraits but when i disable the left/right playerportrait the bottombargraphis didnt show properly!
A: If you want to disable the left/right portraitframes you have to do a little adjustment to the Bottombar.xml found in /Age of Conan/data/gui/customized/views/hud/. Open this file with any texteditor. On Line 75 + 268 you will find a discription on how to avoid that a part of the bottombargraphics are missing when disabling the portraitframes.
Q: I dont need the minimap and want to disable it in the gameoptions!
A: If you do this you will loose the stealthindicator at the bottombar. If you really want to disable the minimap you should goto /Age of Conan/data/gui/customized/views/mapgui/ and open the Minimapview.xml. Delete all code from line 23 to 82. save and type /reloadui in gamechat, Minimap should be gone, but not the stealthindicator. You will lose the Instanceselction Button.
Q: The inventory icons are to small/big. How can i change that?
A: Corruption2 comes with 3 different sizes for the inventory slots. Check the Advanced Tab in the UIinstaller. Make sure sou use the latest version (3.0.4+)[/b]

Q: How can i change the Combo Sequence Indicator to a horizontal format or make it smaller?
A: Corruption offer horizontal and vertical CSI. Both in small and default size.
