Please Funcom, do not start the never ending cycle of caving in to forum lobbyists (whiners, QQers what ever you want to call them). If you give a buff to a class simply because the players of that class want it, the forums will explode from buff/nerf requests.
Then the game will not be about learning to play to become better, but about lobbying most relentlessly to have your class made better.
If you ever dramatically adjust a class feature, please do it because your developers absolutely see it necessary. Not because the players of the class want it.
I realize the flames of my funeral pyre will light up the sky for this, so I won't be reading this thread to avoid feeling bad. HA. :-)

Oh and for the people who mistakenly think that the word 'Ranger' has something to do with ranged combat, here's from the Dictionary:

Funny, if everyone is complaining about one thing then there is obviously something wrong with it. Not that everyone wants longer range just because it would give them advantage. Sure it would, just 5m would be fine, and not a huge increase.
In fact, I dont think that anyone here is complaining about range to have advantage over other classes, but because the range is feeling short.
And the most amusing thing is that a melee class comes and tells us that our range is fine.
Maybe I should go to barbarian forum and say that barbarian is too strong vs a conqueror and should be nerfed?
Unless you're a ranger, your opinion doesn't matter. You have not played the class. It doesn't count if you got owned by one and then think we're already too strong.
And I have no problems killing other players, or taking on few mobs of my level. However I just don't like the short range. Simple as that, you could nerf our damage if that means giving us more range. Or just take away 25% hp for 25% increased range. Fine by me.
