SOCKET YOUR ARMOR
To personalize your armor, you can put gems in it.
Green armor - size 1 gemsocket: needs an Oblique cut gem, made of uncut raw gem
Blue armor - size 2 gemsockets: needs a Cabochon cut gem, made of flawless raw gem
Note: You can put the oblique (green) gem in a gem socket 2, but not vice versa.
An overview of all Cabochon cut gems, can be found here. For more info about gems or that spreadsheet, look here
The armorsmith can craft a very wide variety of armor styles, ranging from leather to full plate. Armorsmith progression is broken up into a series of quests, mostly 14 quests. Each armorsmith quest involves making four items, which then need to be handed into your trainer to complete the quest. Training is available from level 40 at any of the three farming zones, Poitain, Lacheish Plains and Purple Lotus Swamp.
Thanks to Watchdog for adding the costs and to Esprit for providing tier 6 mats.
Special thanks to the Risen Guildmembers for working so hard on the guildcity, so progress stays possible <3
