Just pointing out that I have a very similar system to yours. I am also having freeze / reboot problems. I can play for about 30-60 mins and then the graphics jump and freeze and I need to reboot. Everything is up to date and I have tried several different settings without any luck.

The windows error log says its the video card thats causing the problems.

u can try to change your screen resolution to another higher, it worked for me

i have a problem with the downloader

When i start the game, it starts the downloader which starts downloading a 5,32 mb patch. As soon as it finishes, it closes the window and nothing happens. If i now open the patcher from the conan folder, it will display a full bar, but it won't start the game nor does it start to download the second 600 mb patch which i know of... But if i open the game from start on desktop, it will start to download the same patch again. I need help and funcom isn't helping.

PS! I also dont have anything written on the buttons on the downloader - if it tells you anything

Issues with no Known Fixes

1. Cannot login because you already have a character logged in, even if you don't



so when i log in there is some authentication char problem and i need to spam login to get me in, after that i choose to create a char and i get a message that some of my other chars is still logging out and so i cant create a new one or log with an already existing one.I deleted all the chars and still i cant create a new one to play. I would be really thankful if anyone could help.

I have a really mediocore pc, 3ghz P4, 2gig ram, Nvidia 7900GS - Around the recommended specs for Age of Conan.
I participated in the beta, and the last couple of days it worked awsome! The fps was smooth, I could enable pretty much everything except bloom, Shadows, ground detail = normal, not full view distances, (but high) and some other minor stuff. Others from that nearly maxed out and working smooth on 20-35 fps.

Then release 23. came, i bought and installed..but the game was choppy, or the fps so to speak. I could stand still and have around 15-25 fps, but once i moved my camera around with the mouse, or walked it choppied away cutting my fps down to the unbarable 3-16 fps!! Even in small rooms like an Inn.

I couldnt understand what I had done wrong, tried to go back to some other drivers, tried to verify files, defragment - you name it.. Nothing helped!

Then the forums - I decided to try the program reccomended for deleting drivers settings, and it magically fixed all the problems!

Really try it out, it does wonders if your having choppy fps!

Its just a temporary solution, dont get 2 worked up bout it...
After a couple hours or a Day of playtime at max you'll be back at your starting position with crap fps and hickups.
