Hey, does anyone actualy use crossbow's?

I mean, im level 18 ranger atm, but a lvl 28 HoX and i never seen anyone use crossbows, also using combo's with it seems to take ages.

Are Xbows end-game or so, any high rangers out there?

any comments?

I'm 27 and respecced to Waylayer about 4 hours ago.

By the looks of it its a really slow highburst damage type, i'm using it as a rocketlauncher at the moment, just blasting 65-80% of the mobs health away and then swap to melee to finish it off.

Seemed awesome in PVP, mez-puncture-pindown-melee managed to gank a level 34 demonologist that was harassing lowbies in wildland.

Not really sure if its suposed to be used this way but any other setup pretty much failed for me since the combo's are so slow.

Wait till you get Crippling Snipe on 28. I wet my pants.
And with 3 points in the Incapacitating Stabs knockback talent.. I don't think I'll ever go back to bows.

Abit more range would be nice, I've posted question about using sharpshooters eagle eye for x-bow to severaal threads but nobody seems to know if it affects to crossbows range? Also has anyone yet tested Pitch Pots?

I believe the tooltip says bows only.

Used bow until lvl 30. Then respeced to crossbow. I am not kidding when i say this: The knockdown stance you get is seriously major overpower. From 30 to 40 was a breze. Every thing just gets knocked away by almost 1/3 of your shots. And even if trouble comes your way, switch to shield and knockdown with your melee combo !
