Those bonuses were converted to +damage bonuses, although it's possible the text is not updated yet in the quest.

There you go. Other stats on 40 boots might be a bit better but seeing how they are 10 levels higher they should be. This is also about the fact that heavier armor is supposed to have more invulernatbilites which I myself have found to be wrong ( not only with this example). The fact that some items have as low as 0.01% invul is also a big joke as for me to reduce 1HP with that I pretty much have to have 10K HP which sounds like a joke. If I end up with around 15-20% at lvl 80 i will be happy, anything less than 10% at that level would be pretty much useless.

EDIT: just realised they were cloth and not light as i said earlier which only makes it even worse...

The heavy boots do have a lot more other bonuses, as I suspected - I honestly think that, given the choice, I'd wear the heavies with any of my Soldiers.

Of course, your mileage may vary.

I think I would prefer the cloth ones if I could use them. More max stamina doesn't help me much with current sprint and dex is most likely not working.
The thing is that we are talking lvl 30 cloth vs lvl 40 heavy. We just had a dev saying that heavier armor has more invul yet I have seen so many cases where that is not true. Heavy should have about 3 times as much invul as cloth and full plate 3.5-4 times as much to make heavier armor a viable option. We already learnt that defense rating has nothing to do with PvP so that one can be skipped.
Im just so dissappointed that soldiers are nothing more than any other class with more hp and it shouldn't be like that. lower the HP bonuses on armor and raise the invul, that would at least make me happy.

Intelligence (for Mages) and Wisdom (for Priests) contribute to magical damage instead of magic rating. It being displayed as magic rating was a typo in the text description. (Stats were revamped in Beta 6 months or so ago, but the text was not properly updated.)

I'd pick those cloth boots if I had been able to use cloth on my Guardian. Stacking invulnerabilities is my main priority. And I have noticed that while base invul values are slightly higher on heavier armor (0.3 instead of 0.01) the base values doesn't count for crap. It's the bonuses on special armor pieces that matter and those bonuses are in general higher the lighter the armor type is. Bonuses on light armor are generally higher than bonuses on heavy. Hence I wear light boots, belt, wrist bands, gloves, shoulderstraps on my guardian (at mid thirties, might change higher up) while I use heavy armor on legs and chest for armor rating and knock back resistance where the numbers on those values are high enough to matter anyhow.

Stacking natural stamina regen is good too though. Fat ammounts in that makes me land more combos in a prolonged fight. As a guardian that comes second to invulnerabilities though. I tank. The damagers are the ones who actually kill stuff. Barbarians et al should focus heavily on stamina regen in my opinion.

Thanks Jayde.Now 1 more request can we get some numbers like str and dex?
Not sure its true but i'll post it again
10str=1dps for soldiers
40dex=1dps for rogues
How much evasion does 40dex give us?
How much spell damage does wisdom and int give to casters?

Thumbs down deja vu

this still doesn't answer why as a demonologist you often do half the damage you're supposed to do in PvP or even less then your minimum damage on a player 20 lvls lower
