Hey rangers fellows, today is a big day for us.. they updated the ranger !!!!
1 line and a really needed one.. can't even count the number of duplicate thread about this issue :

Ranger
* The buffs from ranger stances Shattering Stance, Piercing Stance, Fire Stance and Sniper Stance will now be removed from characters when they untrain feats.

So don't you feel much better now ???

Forget about the shattering bug, fire traps which doesn't work, combo that don't do any damage,they're all working "as intended".

I don't understand how they prioritized the things to patch...
They're increasing or decreasing different things on other characters (mana, stamina,damages, cooldown etc...) but at least they're working (from what I understand).

Ranger class have tons of "high cost" broken feats , combo issue etc.. and they still don't do anything.

I guess that one day we'll have a patch only dedicated to us...

PS : for me it's clear, if nothing is done in the next patch, I'll not renew my subs next 22nd of June. I'll check what will be done on my holidays return.

I can understand that. I have an Assassin and a Ranger, the ranger is my main, of course - they are both broken. I will cancel my subscription if nothing will get better in next week patches. I love the game, but I don't like the fact I'm having 2 characters, both broken. My assassin is also female.. oO

I am going to cancel also if nothing is done for my ranger, i havent played more than 3 week to reroll another class and loose time just because dev's can't fix a prof and only fix tos and pom

Well, I hink its "ok" that they fix the other classes first, Ranger is a uniqe class and will always have big role in pvp and group pve. thing is, they need to fix / ballance the other classes first to see how they got to chance our skills. , I dont like being broken either (feats/stats/skills/fem animation) (tho stats are fixed now [16e} )
but im not gona complain or stop my sub afther 4 weeks of live play. Well complain I will , go away i shall not.

I guess when they finally fix broken feats they will do this without mentioning it in updates notes, and will claim, that "it was always working as intended (seems to be proverbial already), just tooltips did not show it - and in cause of Pich pots - there was no animation or damage done, but it was there all the time ;-D).

Stop crying about "love" and "fixes". Stupid wow kids are used to getting whatever they want if they cry enough.

(Yes' ive played wow myself for 3 years, as a pve retribtuion paladin. They still cry on forums about all the fixes they need, but a huge chunk of l2p really goes a long way)

Yes, i also know some feats are broken. Simple solution, dont pick em yet. My ranger is only level 58, but im doing fine. Its not like the class is unplayable.

Actually, if you've ever played hunter in WoW, this is about the same thing. Hunters don't get fixes either.

Truth is, i started a hunter when wow launched (played ranger in daoc), but i hated it so much that i eventually rerolled. Not because of a broken class, but i didnt enjoy the kite-o-rama required back in the days

They've implemented new bugs that makes us unable to use things like Autoshot and pets... Autoshot bug has been going on for almost half a year now with no fix. Pets not being able to attack certain mobs was implemented the last patch.

But anyhow, all I'm saying is, even though people whine about things getting fixed in WoW, it surely doesn't fix things there either. If an ability is broken, it can take a very long time in any game you play to have it fixed.

I understand people that want to leave the game until it's fixed. This game is far from finished. The first 40 levels or so looks good for launch. But the lack of content and broken abilities/feats truly shows that this game shouldn't have been brought out from Beta yet. There's no excuse to launch a game where talents have been implemented, but isn't working. QA did a piss-poor job when accepting the launch date.
