As some of you might have done this, mine bugged up for some reason. I killed 10 apes, got the mats. I put the mats on the rock, get the 2 snakes on me.. But I couldn't kill em, so I had to run. So the timer showed 5 mins, thought it was untill respawn, but then the quest expired, and I cannot seem to find the quest anymore in egophythian mountains..

I killed the apes, got the blood, summoned the worms,killed one of them, friendly passer-by killed the other, only got credited for one, timer ran out, quest expired, can't get it again. Great!

Yeah thats the thing, I don't have a clue where its from. Apart from that, dunno if the npc won't give it again or something, but thats 20 k xp I lost! That I need for leveling, due to lack of quests.

Same prob here, killed one while bystanders ganked the second one. Sat there waiting for the spawn spanking the monkey but no joy. Screen message, quest cant be retaken....

I have had a petition in for two days now but it is impossible to get through and get any GM help in this game

Quest timer expired for me too after the worms killed both of us in my party, and of course I cant re-take the q. Shame I wouldn't have minded grinding the hearts again to give it another go.

Its from the female npc standing just in front of the road leading up to the hunting lodge. She is the one who also had you killing 4 of each of the snaketypes. Abandon what remains of your quest. I asume you have it still. If not, check your completed log for the mountains, and if its there, youre fecked. if its not, then try to go speak to the npc, make sure you have abandoned it before talking to her.

Those worms need a nerf before anything else imo

I've done this quest (however died 3 or 4 times ), however I think its crazy idea to do such quests.

1st, it's pain to kill 10 apes in high-population server.

2nd, worms are too powerful, and you're not prepared for fight when they aggro.

3rd, their location are very close to another spawns - Cannibals and Apes.

4th - quest location is on a crossroads where players do many quests. On PvP server you can be easily ganked during the quest.

5th - someone can tap your mob and kill it; quest will be failed.

Very badly designed quest. Just put the quest rock inside Cannibal cave. Easy as pie but still hard to undestand by FC designers. Damn.

yeh when i did this i managed to kill the 1st one but 2nd one killed me, so i quickly ran back with 2mins on timer left and saw someone else had tagged and killed it and got quest failed when timer ran out.
