Hello everyone-

In kheshetta there is a quest, which can be obtained at either 72 or 73, which involves freeing some prisoners from their cages. These prisoners are inside a caravan cave. Inside this cave there are lvl 80 elites, but fear not- this quest can be soloed if you watch your steps.

This quest rewards one with a lvl 75 blue helm which is quite decent, hence why I would like to share how I did this.

Soloing this requires the corruption feat skill FROM THE DARKNESS, it's close to impossible without.

Basically, when you enter the place, there is absolutely no mobs for quite a while, however, eventually after a while, you will run into a small packed room with 2 corridors, one straight ahead and one to the left. It's important to sneak around the grp on the right, then proceed to sneak till the corridor leading straight, but do NOT go down this path, just wait at the side of the opening untill the PATROLLING mob has come out of the corridor on the left and is standing somewhere in between the two grps. Quickly move to the other side of the straight corridor, so you stand to the left of it, rather than right to it. Now hug the wall and go inside the left corridor. Follow the path untill you see another room of mobs- this is where you have to be VERY CAREFULL, cause this room has a bad spot which lights up your stealth meter. What causes this is a light-source right before the room- So I advice all to stand back, while still in a dark spot, and wait for the patrol to walk down and back out of the room. When the patrolling mob has walked out, you can quickly move through the light by hugging right wall- and within a second or two, you'll be in a safespot again. The grp on your left will not spot you if you do this properly. Proceed to move down the dark path while still hugging the right wall.

Now we're here, the room with the prisoners in the cages- in order to complete this quest, you will need to touch all of the 3cages, but this is not an easy task by any means, since there is a lvl 80 elite boss which will 1 or 2shot you. So, how do you get past? I'll tell you how- you simply walk as close to the opening of the room as you can, while still staying in the shadow- then you wait for the patrol to walk back into the past room. You target the boss, and then you use FROM THE DARKNESS to charge into the room and stun him- while the boss is stunned, grab the opportunity and open all 3 cages- it's perfectly doable. The grp on the left of the room did not aggro me when I did this, and the minions in the room did not rly dmg me.


Hope this helped someone- I had trouble finding people for this quest cause the reward is pretty useless to everyone but an assassin.

Nice tip! If it still works? I also have specced 'Fear', so maybe use this as well?

Yes! I went in there the other day...and they have now made this trick impossible....
