I want to lvl as fast as possible to 80 with a pve build and then respec to pvp once i get there.

Anyway, you've come to the wrong forum if you want advice on how to play a good ranger, so far all i've seen are a load of whiners about how they can't play.

Some people on this thread do have good advice, you may want to trawl though the threads and drop them a private message, before your thread gets in-undated with, "This class is too nerfed, it needs a boost...oh god we can't play" style comments.

Badly titled post, thought i might get someone elses view on a good build but nevermind. Tbh ive tried both bow and xbow and i find the xbow far better, pretty much 1 shotting any mob within 2 levels of me. "IF" a mob does get to u trap and out range it, maybe a first person stealthy strike and a pin down. If you pull more then 2 mobs (or even just 2) use a piercing shot and insta shot any minion in site.

Yungstar yeah its easy enough to build a good pve one

Theres a post about builds around but much like everything - everyone has a slightly different idea on whats good.

The way were getting slapped with the nerf bat - its changing so quickly to advise you chap.

Shattering stance and the waylander tress were the best, coupled with eagle eye from the sharpshooter tree so can shoot at ranged ie our main advantage ranged abilities!

The game is so new I would suggest going for the most CC and dps adds on really until you can work out something better.
