Is it just me or this is totally laughable? Most of the time my stealth attack with a 2h weapon is doing like no damage on players. [..on soldiers its like zero, on casters its a bit better, but still like 5-10% of their hp is getting removed if I am lucky] Is this bugged or??

I've found it's incredibly erratic on both mobs and players but what most conerns me for now is when you successfully exectute the attack but it does 0 damage because you are spotted WHILE you successfully execute the attack (or so it seems). I find it does no visible damage a lot (on screen numbers fly by too fast to see and are hidden behind "Stealth Attack").

But aside from that the problem is we have no way of knowing how it functions or calculates damage anyway.

Mainly though don't Stealth Soldiers (or even take them on) since they are pretty much the stone to our scissors it seems.

Stealth attack is great. Especially if you proc offhand on it

Care to explain? Because stealth attack with a 2h weapon usually does like no damage on players [especially on soldiers].

offhand proc, he was duel wielded.. which seems to do stealth attacks a lot better than 2 handers, which in a way make sense.. you can't exactly stab someone in the back with a giant 2-hander in a stealth like fashion.

try it in real life, thats why assassins prefered daggers or short swords in medieval etc times, and the one thing you never got in assassins creed was a giant 2 handed weapon in order to stealth attack people.

I am a Barbarian and have just reached L34, and am still trying to find the best stealth attack,,using 2H , as atm when stealthed all i can use apart from the std arrow attack is "No-Escape" and that leaved me disarmed, yet if i stealth and the hit the enemy , this does not do so much damage. well not enough that no escape will finish them off.

Do we have a combination move that does uber can be started while in stealth ? then finsih of the target with No Escape ??

stealth atatck seems to be about 2-3 times normal weapon damage for me, for dw players offhand can proc of it additionally.
mainproblem is probably that you really have to be in range and your target has to be in the swing for it to hit. and sometimes it looks like normal attacks have bigger reahc than sneakattack to me, but cannot prove it its just a feeling.

I dont know...but many times my stealth attack does NO damage on players. Seems like bugged to me.

Yep, it often does 0 damage to players and Mobs as I said in my earlier post.
I think the bug is in the fact you break stealth as you attack and it sometimes registers THAT before it registers that you succeeded in the attack - thus negating the attack.
