Make Renton talk -.-

I have found him and have managed to engage him in conversation.. Everytime I ask him "1. ...", he sits down and the scene ends. I can restart the dialogue but I never get past this particular question.

I found a forum webpage cached by Google reporting a similar issue in beta. Is this a bug or what?

I'm having same problem. Every time I ask the question "where were you with...." (you have to ask this eventually) he just sits down without saying anything and without any further options to progress the quest.

I bypassed it through my trainer. Doesn't seem to matter much..

Think ill do same tomorrow - its only 1k exp and the gms are taking forever to answer my /petition.

I also have this issue, he just sits there doing nothing :S
