well about that...you have an option in the settings where you can select "watching intoscenes" - yes - no - ask me ... so you have the choice...just search for it!

Just enable the 'skip' option in the interface settings, then you can skip it.

I tried emptying the movies out a while back, but the game started downloading them right after I started the clien. I'm afraid there's no avoiding them.

Just click your mouse 5x. No more or you'll loose focus in the password wind. Pain in the ass, that. But you get used to it.

when the hated and boring intro start (after cration of your new character)
hit alt +F4 and a logout box pop click on exit now.
Login and choose the new char ..it will be on the beach and the intro is skipped.

is it possible to just rename the movie folders? I used to do this with BF2142, stopped the movies running, went straight to login. I will try later as the servers are down at the minute.

Works for only ingame cutscenes, which people enjoy I assume.

But the question is.. how to disable those 6 videos that are displayed when you enter the game (without disabeling ingame cutscenes or anything like that)?

Come on. 6 extra clicks every time you enter a game. That's just odd. AOC succeeds where wow or some other mmos failed but fails where wow or even runescape succeeeded (AND DOES NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO TURN OFF VIDEOS).

Nay. I tried it and the game checks if you have the folder and if the files are correct size. If not, they will be downloaded by client..
