Last night I used the parse to check out the dps to find something "strange" in a game like this. The DPS order:

1.- Tank (DT)
2.- Healer (ToS)
3,4,5.- Rogues/Magues
6.- Offtank

It's getting hard to find Sins, Demos and Necros nowadays, whats the point on making such class when you can create a DT instead of a sin/barb and you can tank too, or a demo/necro when you can create a ToS and be a healer too?

I know this issue has been discussed a lot but, since it hasnt been fixed yet, this is my (+1)

My main is a sin and sometimes it's hard to beat a DT... in defensive stance

You haven't met the right players playing those classes. A skilled sin will outdps any class (singletarget) with ease. Each class bring a certain thing to the table, and while you compare the classes with how much dmg they can deal and get, you lose focus on other factors

Some bring CC's, some group buffs, and some singletarget or aoe dps. I have yet to see a skilled demo be beaten by a skilled tos when it comes to AoE dmg. You can't produce 1 example and claim that is the state of the game...

Now you got me. What about if try to analyze why did they beat you in dps? They have better gear, more AA, more experience, perfect combo or spell rotation to maximize their dps output? Did you consider that? Get back to the parser, and ask older players for advice about the your class if you are unable to figure it out yourself.

Yes, i must be a noob but, i've done a LOT of hms and i can tell you that the tank(DT) was ALWAYS on the top dps list. I guess everybody not playing a dt must be a noob and only pros play a DT.

A tos/pom with a DPS set not healing, can deal a dps close to a demon.

I think you haven't done LOTS of hard modes, because you would know it's not always like that. Or perhaps my DT is on the noob side, too. The only parser I'm able to win with DT is Cavern of Malice - not that I care to parse hard modes, but I've met few parser whores.

even while healing they can, but it greatly depends of the demo and the encounter.

It's really possible to see from X to X*2 dps capability on the same toon played by 2 different players.
