Yes it's just fantastic that Funcom had to be embarrassed on the forums to actually sort this out. Lets forget the 9 petitions they had to lodge, the hours of collecting evidence, posting evidence, discussions, explanations and endless hassle and still being told nothing can be done.

Only last week, I was being chastised by people who were arguing vehemently that ranting on the forums isn't the right way. Well let this thread be a lesson if ever you needed it of precisely why you're misguided. Those of us who have been around from the start have seen his kind of response repeatedly. This is exactly why we don't bother taking the official line or keeping quiet and waiting for everything to come good.

The fact it happened in the first place is a disgrace. The fact that after hours of trying and multiple petitions they still got no response is a disgrace. The fact it took them coming onto the forums and the GD himself having to get involved is a disgrace. Yes it's fantastic Sil got it sorted but why did it take these extreme measures to actually get them to sort it out?

I am pleased the OP had his renown level back for sure, but thanking Funcom for doing it? It's like buying a drink for someone then thanking them for wiping up the vomit they've just thrown up in your lap.

One of the latest patches brought us same problem. It was so surprising for everyone to contemplate "Your guild has reached renown level 1" or something like that right after killing the raid boss. Petition was sent immediately. But as it usually happens after few hours of waiting we hadn't been still awarded with GM's reply. So another petition was sent next day. After scrupulous study of the screenshot GM finally learned the difference between renown level and renown rank and promised to report this problem to developers. "Sorry for inconvenience and have a nice day with Age of Conan" - nothing has changed since that time. We had already had renown level 7 but somehow it came 5 few days later.

We "Iron Will" guild need you Morrison to get our renown level back! Do something!
