Bashing a game you've loved because you are pissed is never gonna help anything, it's never gonna make this game or this community better, and it's never gonna make people still playing the game happier. And to be entirely honest, I don't even understand the need to do it. If you've stopped playing a game, that you no longer enjoy it, move on, play something else, or just enjoy other things in life, but why spitting your hatred ?

It would be like spitting on your former friends (or gf/wife/husband) to whoeever can hear it just because you stopped enjoying their company. It's utterly ridiculous and doesn't give you anything.

So it's just why I don't like this behaviour, no matter how many good things have been done in the past
Then you my friend have never been in love

More seriously where you see bashing, I see drawing out the issues and hoping to get Funcom to take responsibility for the mess they've made. I see it every day in my professional career, people just going through the motions because they lack any real passion or interest to do things properly. Everything approached with a sense of apathy or indifference because they just can't be bothered to make the effort to make a difference. I'm sick of companies gouging their customers in the pursuit of profit - not to re-invest or improve things but to give to themselves bigger bonuses and pay for the next MMO at our expense.

To answer your final question, "why spitting your hatred". While I think hatred is a strong word, partly it's because I am unable to simply detach my feelings so easily from something I was so passionate about for so long. Call it a personality failing if you like but I'd still be playing the game and enjoying it had it not turned out the way it did. Psychologically I'm guessing I resent/blame Funcom for the fact I'm not playing it any more. Something else I should bring up with my psychiatrist I guess.

Unfortunately, I see the same every day, however we all agree if Funcom did what half their loyal customers asked, it would have been a blast, but on the current time there is still a few players who have a good time there, and finally Funcom seems to have taken a constructive direction (the last 6 months were extremely productive, given the usual productivity over the last 2 years) and I have the feeling that now that TSW is close from release, more people are available, or somehow something happened and maybe the employees who are left in this game are those in love with the game and ready to make it kick ass.
