that idea done now by swtor and WoW ...both got the idea from FC who were tooo sloooooow to design it. Just look at WoW panda monks and compare to the khitai monks..identical except for model type.

you mean to offer stuff every subscriber already bought? Its all nice offers for players getting to game but if they dont keep the veterans they loose it its that simple.
I bet if they do an offer to subscribers i wont get one cuz my subscription is canceled (yes i know its so hard to add an option "do not automaticly go on with the subscription" so i have to cance it every time).
I dont mind slow progression, i wouldnt mind a 12h maintance i DO MIND STUPID PLANNING AND STUPID DOING.
If you even god damn think you need 12hours just say 12h and nobody has to w8, if u need les fine everybody is happy cuz servers up soon.
Like that all u do is mess the plans of all people that dont have 24/7time to play AoC and actually TAKE and PLAN time up sitting there doing **** cuz the plan was after work servers up again, then it was at 6servers up again and now half of the evening the servers are down and we cant even tell if they are just ****ing up again and its gonna be no servers up today.
That for a simple, plannable and SMALL update!

quite honestly. im glad they dont bring it up.

I would rather a full 24-48 hours downtime to properly update. than a laggy bug filled mess which ruins gameplay.

I have heard that other "big" games take the approch of having a regular patch day, on which you simply cant play.
or maintenence day or whatever. which i think would be a bloddy brilliant idea for AOC.

srsly now. 12h (and i bet more on the way) just for all that Tarib describes previously? something wrong here or dunno what else tooks that amount of time. Imo, get srvs down for 24h, do a FULLY restarting with every update/aspect then go back online

Maybe so , But FC doesnt have this so called patch day , instead they keep on saying every 3 hours they need another 3 hours just lol

Yes, i wouldn't mind a regular maintenance day as well...just people don't like randomness it seems.
