This is a quite simple and practical topic to help those people who do not expect RP to be all about themselves to find it in these days of low population and general blues in AoC. I'll do my best to keep it constantly up-to date.

Recurring RP-Events

Monday ~ Happy Hyrkanian Inn (weekly)
location: Tesso Inn, Wild Lands of Zelata
Despite the Wild Lands of Zelata being almost a battlefield themselves in these unruly times, the Sisterhood of Derketo yet keeps their tavern operation in Tesso running. For whatever reason the Ladies are not giving up this spot esily. Wanderers who are passing the realm, should not miss out on a visit to this legendary Inn at the crossroads. Even in dark times it keep a warm heart-fire, pleasent entertainment and not the least interesting encounters for adventurous travelers.

Tuesday ~ Cimmerian Immersion (weekly)
location: Conarch Tavern, Conall's Valley, Lacheish Plains
Though times are hard as ever, the free people of the North still keep their foothold in the harsh backlands of Cimmeria where even the invasion forces of the Black Hordes can't make much progress. Clan Koragg is still the ruling Clan in the realm. But the free lands of the north are also home and refuge to other factions who prevail their freedom here, like the mysterious order of the Hand of Ibis or the even more elusive people of the Clan of the Free City. For travelers to the North, it is recommended to watch out for these factions and try to seek their welcome. Cimmeria is a harsh land and you better have the locals on your side...

In the wild northmarks of Aquilonia, close to the Cimmerian border, lies the forgotten village of Tombstone. It is a forsaken place, marked on no official map, yet every once in a while a stout huntsman or other daring travelers might accidently find their way here. Over the years, Tombstone has become something like a home even to a number of people who, for various reasons, prefer to stay hidden from the outer world. But it is also a haunted place, where strange things that happen hint to mysteries from a long forgotten past ...

Thursday ~ The Pit (bi-weekly)
location: Sailor's Den Tavern, Old Tarantia
In a vibrant and thriving Kingdom like Aquilonia, you will not have to go a long way to find a vivid underworld just as well. The Pit has all that the battle-hardened adventurer might be looking for: Sex and crime, bloody brawls and fighting contests and a lot of shady and dubious figures in the shadows. The ideal place to get lost in. Or to find what you ain't been looking for ...
ooc: RP-PvP event with pit-fights and much atmosphere.
PS: The Pit's patron's looking out for a reliable barkeep, job applicants are to seek out Karcos at any next Pit event!

The Sisterhood of Derketo is as old as time itself and those who speak lightly of "the oldest profession of mankind" have not yet even an idea what they're talking about. Tombstone
Group of Outcasts settled in a Haunted Village,
Tombstone is a a ruined village in the far north of Aquilonia, close to the Cimmerian border (map), where people of all kinds of backgrounds have settled down to disappear from public view. What made them come there? Why did they need to? Only they know and maybe you can find out if you become one of them. - It is not a welcoming place and the strange things that happen hint to mysteries from a long forgotten past, but for the people who live there, it’s as close to a home as they could find...
RP: Heavy plot-driven RP in a genuine "haunted house"-setting; Tombstone can also provide wonderful generic characters to add to any possible RP(-PvP)-event.

Help keeping this updated!

I've taken the liberty for now to list and outline events and guilds as I know and love them and I hope you feel well represented. Please don't hesitate to add corrections though! Maybe you'd like another text, other contact names, etc, just drop a reply here or send me a pm (yes, I'll watch them for now ).

As a matter of fact, more regular RP and really operative RP-guilds would be nice to add, but this topic is mostly meant to demonstrate that there is reliable RP to be found on Fury. - Just that the people who work and care for it are mostly not those who can be notoriously found here on the forum making themselves important. - Maybe, after over three years, there's a chance now that Roleplayers finally realise this, hm?

So, there you go. If you're interested in a vivid RP-Community then support it. And let's not give up hope for better times but instead let's have fun together and enjoy wonderful hours of immersion! Cheers!

Good post from you as always.

I like to add couple things about Tombstone. Village location described as "Middle of nowhere" which makes a bit hard to interact with us so in this case "Middle of nowhere" means close Cimmerian border, north Aquilonia. So for all travelers, hunters, lost, runaways, criminals and other persons roaming around that area are always welcome to accidentally found this creepy place every Wednesday starting at 20.00 GMT!

Zhahid my old friend, excellent work as always. It's nice to see after three weeks of silence there's a little more productive activity on these forums now.

I don't have much to add, Z hit everything on the head pretty well! A heads up though, I may be poking Mr Galadh pretty soon, it would be nice to cross a few bridges and set some roleplay up. I think we could get that ball rolling quite nicely. Maybe we'll indeed stumble in one Wednesday at 8pm

Things are quiet mind. With the notorious releases of a few well known games this month - But things are still moving forward. I'll be looking to move roleplay towards The House of Crom content soon, so I invite people to get involved with us there Otherwise we "officially" operate for roleplay at 8pm GMT on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. We'll continue to do this during the holiday season.

Looks nice, right? ^^ And would be nice also to advertise a fourth weekly event. - Yet, I wonder if Tombstone is really the sort of RP for anybody to drop by randomly just to meet other RPers like a tavern-event? Me deems it needs a bit deeper commitment and appointment in advance to ensure that visitors duely respect this genuine piece of immersion in which you guys have put so much love and detail. Hence, let me know if you'd like an event-entry as sketched above or rather keep with the guild-entry as it is now.

I'd ask for a few changes to the Pit entry:
Could you add Anyad as a contact? I don't log on my mains very often these days, let alone Karcos.
I'd also like for the fact that we're continually on the lookout for staff to be noted. We're forever having trouble finding people to run the bar reliably.

We have kept it going now over year every Wednesday with handful of people, its open event for everyone, but not widely advertised or spammed in global. You wondered there right that we do not wish it as a hang around RP tavern event, but more deeper immersion aiming one. Commitment can be one Wednesday evening, bit longer period or in worst case chance to get locked into some dark place for months.

Your sketch is there fitting like that, good for my eye. Guild mama can adjust if needed, she has the rolling pin and so last word.
