More guilds killing new raidbosses - more content incoming. At that point we had 3 guilds clearing 3.5 and 2-3 new boss encounters in 4-6 month. So keep holding secrets and chewing gum provided by developers for 4 month+.

To kill Arch lector we used -Asylum- video and "Blutlinie Croms" post. But we used in way "wtf this buff does, coz i can't read it disappear too fast". We invited and developed tactics by ourselves, because any tactic will be failure one, when tanks using it can't propely work in pair. I can waste all night to check what each buff does, but i can't make 23 people spent whole night for it too. Realities of life. The real life exist too. And it's not top 1 mmo game with over 1005009000 people playing so i can spam in global at 04:14 and got 4 raids there.

So thank Asylum and Blutlinie Croms that guys from always forgotten Rothat server, nowdays Crom, managed done it too.

Yeah and we were surpised what "hand of lector" does, why he stop cast "Veil of the unliving" and went melee form.

I found 10.5K HP and 18% prot (like ophyra posted) or 9.5K (no second healer in group)>22% prot work pretty fine for me.

Some margin is needed not so much for BB itself, but for example for situations like BB hitting together with Static Scream, or immediately followed by that spread-out spell at the end of unshield phase.

Last night we tried this tactic and it was a total FAIL.

From 100 - 53%
Q1: 10xMelees
Q2: Empty
Q3: 8xRanged
Q4: 5xTanks + 1BS

Until this point, all blood spawn were made on Q1

From 53% to 51%

Q1: Empty
Q2: 10xMelees
Q3: 8xRanged
Q4: 5xTanks + 1BS

Blood spawn was made on Q2

At 48%

Q1: 8xRanged
Q2: Empty
Q3: 10xMelees
Q4: 5xTanks + 1BS

Blood spawns were made on Q1+Q3

Acording to the video posted by QQ, the spawns should had been made on Q2+Q3. Maybe funcom fixed it to spawn the blood on the 2 quarters where there are more ppl?

That was with a bugged version of the boss.. FC fixed it so this strategy no longer works.

When the boss is beyond 50% the blood will spawn in the two quarters where there're more players

That is correct after 50% blood spawns in the 2 quarters with most people in it. Original video from Tiomm was when it was bugged, him and I have since added new Archfiend movies showing non-bugged versions of boss.

We use two big groups on both sides of the tank quarter - the dps aggro holders are on the entrance quarter.

This is the tactic we will try next:
---------------------
From 100 - 50%

Q1: 10Melees
Q2: Empty
Q3(Taurus): 8Ranged
Q4(Taurus): 5Tanks+1Bs

Taurus order: 2xMelees (8 debuffs will be more than enough to take the boss down to 50%)

-----
Under 50%

Q1: 7Melees (Blood control)
Q2: 3Melees + 4 Ranged(Pom/Tos/Ranger) (Blood control)
Q3(Taurus): 4 mages (Brutal force control)
Q4(Taurus): Tanks

Taurus order: 1Ranged + 1Mage (8 debuffs should be enough)

You do not need your healer to stay in tank quad, they should spawn blood as well, blue heals last longer than the 10 seconds he will be away from the tanks, so they will not be without them. But apart from that there is no reason your tactic won't work, just need execution.

edit: if your clickers are dying, you can go an 8, 8, 4, 4 setup it's a little tougher on the tanks, but then your clickers can stay in that quadrant for the 1 min it takes to the snare etc to wear off, effectively giving you a 7, 7, 5, 5 setup which is also very safe

We have the bs there for the manifestations. He can be our joker in case we need to balance a quarter in case somebody dies.

Thanks for the tip in case our clickers die, but we use the old spank-your-ass method to make sure none of them die.

We usually have 8-8 and 4-4 or 8-9 and 4-3.
2 good necros we decent gear for the encounter are able to deal with the KBs.
