Oh it's even far more simple than that : T4's lobby and Temple's lobby are both linked to the raid ID.

So if you don't want to have a resetted instance in Temple you have to make the raid outside all the time and make sure that group leaders are bound, same goes for T4 you can reset Courtyard instance if you dont pay attention (because Sheng and Basilisk instance is not the same one than the Jade Citadel Instance in itself with Imp / Zodiac and Emperor)

Guys, what's up with aggro on Sheng? Does he reset it on Cyclone or something?

I've seen no mention of aggro reset in any tactic, but I'm constantly pulling him if I'm on my BS with tanks. If I'm not there (and no other healer is), then the ranged group eventually pulls him, even if their dps is slow and they make pauses.

Haven't notice any resets, but aggro becomes mess second when 1st person who hit Sheng dies. If you are lucky it will be locked on tank no matter what (but DS, goad or FE help to help keep it alive), but most times Sheng will walk around and kill dpsers, even if they won't hit him once for long time.

I've seen both dps and healers pull aggro on Sheng, If I remember correctly on our Sunday raid BS got aggro.
Just as Hayde is saying once dps/healers gets aggro and boss starts moving around(dps stopped for like 1 min and still managed to get aggro somehow) or any person on boss dies it can get really messy really fast.
Just out of curiosity how many ranged dps you got on boss?

It's just like that - I don't know how I'm pulling aggro with all survivability perks and gear (probably having the same dps as guardians)...

Yesterday we had 4 tanks on him and I think 5 ranged (me with bow, 2 necros, demo and ToS) - the tanking/healing was sweet, but necros (then demos and tos) started to pull aggro after 40% and it all went to hell.

I was thinking about Cyclone resetting aggro, because on one try I replaced a fallen tank with my BS just before Cyclone - I tanked the whole cast while dpsing and he aggroed on me shortly after that - no way this could happen without aggro reset.

Everytime I am with tanks on the boss I am aggroing Sheng after ~30-40%... One necro who managed to loose aggro without dying, was not doing anything for about 30s, but the boss came back to him.

We need to be extra careful then, but is the 10min enrage timer still there?

what i see working best is having 2 dt 1 guard tank dont run out on cyclone unless they are realy low avoid using goad at all costs 2 demos 2 necros doing slow controled dps and boss will die he wont run around like crazy
doing crazy burst=agro its why having 2 dts is nice on holding agro on that boss
15-22% bettewen each sky pierce should be doable without problems

Depending on dps there's a percentage when things can go out of hand we had that happening at around 50%, what worked for us was 4 ranged dps doing constant steady dps(2 necros 1 demo +1 necro joining after 90% or so), but necros are really complaining that they need to faceroll most of the time.
Other than that we have 3 tanks 1bs and 1 pom. With this setup if 1 tank dies aggro gets screwed big time.
Regardin dps getting aggro just as I said we had them stopping for 1min maybe even more and just as I called start dps they instapulled.

And I second what noite is saying about goad: Avoid using it!!! tanks need to get proper rotation going.

personaly i can only do normal spell rotation if i spec in general tree -hate total with gear and feats have 16.7 -hate avoiding ftw is needed i only use it after 50% dunno if its broken or not what i know is if i use it from start at aroun60-50% of boss health ill haver agro despite using hate reduction all the time

Missiu. PPl affected by disarm get minus agro, so keep sins with AA gold perk, or make disarm happen on particular tank

And yep 10min timer is still there

Also after Sky pierc near 15% OR 10% and you can call all dps that does runner to Zerg him

All bosses seem to have less mitigation since last patch. Aggro is really a mess these days. I wasnt near to 50% dps at Sheng, Basi and Imp and pulled all 3 constantly in HP gear and 10,7% hate decrease. Same for demos, necros and BS at Sheng. I guess FC changed sth by accident...again^^
