Sieges will never be fixed nor does Funcom care about it...
It was the most awesome idea that never got to live due to poor programming and even worse implementation.
They need to go back to the shop and revamp from scratch but that takes too much time for content interested only by the minority.
minority being pvpers in a pve game.
It is sad that Funcom advertises the game with lines like "awesome massive pvp content, crush another guild in the field by using massive siege weapons bla bla bla" yet they prioritise to fix new 6 man and solo dungeons and quests when something that has been broken from day one since launch still is...
And they go on about this like it is working as intended...Not once have i seen a GameMaster or a tech developer to visit our sieges in bare curiosity on how the content is performing.
"It's working as intended, with no lag" - yes on an empty server with 12 people on each side maybe...get 96 people on the same place you won't be able to turn around let alone perform a meaningfull action without wanting to beat up your keyboard.
And they blame the community for using third party programs to produce lag...if they know about such a myth why don't they visit sieges and ban those players...simple anwser...they don't care nor if they would care could they ban since they can't make a hax free game.
On a side note...swiching items in your inventory produces lag, hell even opening your inventory produces lag...
This game is broken from the get go and you expect it to undergo heavy stress like a 48vs48 siege.
Seems every week some guy comes along and QQ about sieges , refering to some promo vid he saw from 2007 where it worked.
I'm pretty sure Funcom are aware of the problem.
Then why they still use that 2007 vid on a NEW website?(False advertisement the least).
Thay are aware and choose to ignore so people will qq.

Uhh right fantastic gear dependency which you almost cant overcome with real pvp but you dig dig dig.

I mean comon that system is bugged like hell people exploit it so the anti social get protected by there gaurds social pvpers get raped by funcom GG!(imo again false advertisement).
Guilds will also need to fight each other over natural resources!
Still promoting Bori as pvp content Will they ever learn?
