Default Unplayable game. Time to compensate

It lags!

It crashes

Sound isnt working as intended

Rewards arent working as intended

Bugs in toons so they dont work/look as intended.

That is my experience after logging in for 2hours this morning.

FC, its time to compensate your customers. You dont need to do it in game time, it would be much better for both parties if it was in ingame items.

You wont loose any money and the player would get progress which is lost in the current state of the game.

Change the 125% stack and make it generate aggro in defence and +50% magic in frenzy
Buff the damage in SK with 300% and the debuff with 100%. Shorten duration to 10 sec and cd to 20 sec
DL buff the dt 15% magic and 15% physical
US, decreased casting time and two martyrdom buff
Fix talisman mastery so it works in pvp

did u try to click all the resources in the patcher?

New engine is working great here

at least 50% more fps, DX10 all settings at max, playing at 1920x1200.

the minimum FPS i get is 40, in khitai where i used to get the hardest hit.

Also i noticed i dnt get any rubberbanding issues or mini freezes in minis.

system:

I7 980
Nvidia 580
12MB RAM
Windows 7 - 64
SSD 256

FPS is great now (even in Dx10) but I am encountering awful lag too. It is somewhat sudden 5000ms lag bursts that makes game almost unplayable pretty often. As the lag is often present when there is also a mob or two chasing you (of course these two events are not dependent on each other but very annoying together).

I think last time I had similar (but 10000ms) lag in worst times of 2008... I guess that is the client downloading the data in background. However, I would rather prefer waiting day or two to load the data and then play smoothly, rather than lag here and there all the time (until everything loaded which has not happened to me yet).

I am also getting all kinds of weird memory reference errors (= programming bugs). However I have been too lazy to report them to funcom

You obiviously don't play in any T3/T4 raids or sieges.

This was reported on TL and it still stands, for some of us the game is unplayable. I am starting to think its poor integration with ATI cards.

I have ATI and have no problems at all. ATI 5830 too (far from being the top card from ATI). Apart from the usual bugs as in AA bugs and latency spikes when in raids, the game has given me a lot more FPS and double of the performance I used to have. I can even raid in DX10 now when I couldn't before.

The 2.1.4 patch seemed to have killed some performance increase, although it may well be just my settings going up.

I'm getting better performance after the patch, running DX10 with full on everything except for godrays and shadows. Granted I have an Nvidia 260GTX gfx board, but the performance has been doubled in DX10 for me. I never used to be able to raid with my setup without turning everything down, but now it holds steadily at 25fps when I raid and 50+fps almost everywhere else.

So it's certainly not unplayable for me. If it turns out that a large portion are having problems they usually compensate. I doubt posting here will speed that up btw...

Compensation will only be done if Funcom sees that fit for extended downtime. I don't see a reason to discuss this since Funcom will decide if this will happen yes or no

Closing the thread now since it's pointless to discuss this.
