Thats not true.
I haven't played UO&SWG, but I have played DF. And to be honest (at least when I was playing) there was no diffrence at all. There are always the same behaviours. There is always whining, rude, childish people. There are always people who call you names, who spam global, priv, whatever.

Games are meant to be fun and a lot people just don't get that this is just a game.

Why dont we compete INGAME, fight with our skills and win or loose we all say ''/global good game'' and move just move on ? why this need to flame and insult like children everytime ANYTHING happens? WHY THIS NEED TO CRY ?? NO ONE CARES !!! its just leads to .... MORE ****ING CRYING ....

Sometimes it is good to warmup with good insult fight, but thats getting sad when you realize that most of people are fcuking serious about that :<

What's the point in being mature on a RPG, At the end of the day guys this is a RPG game, You could be a 50 yr old police chief, But ingame your an immature global warrior.

It is just a game but, I doubt anyone flames just to ruin others gameplay.

I've always maintained a certain mentality in every game i've been to, Which is don't initiate flames, If you've made someone care enough to flame you then bait them and make them more angry. As seen in a few threads i made recently

But i agree with taking it too the extreme, Some people try too hard as if they are trying to get some recognition for being douche's.

I think that ammount of flames on the server are nowhere near critical level, if not, its decreased lately, who flames now? I see some exile vs darkwind maybe and some regular guys who never stopped flaming so it looks pretty normal to me.

Also this is 18+ game and freedom of speech is one of the main advantages compared to other MMOs. You can say stuff in aoc which get you banned in other games easily. As for the new comers, to some its shocking but they can chose other server so there is no problem.

I agree it has decreased a bit, But i'd put that mainly down due to no one caring about what goes on anymore.
