Why all the flame guys?

First of all if you wanna go personal, both Erathorn and Ethaniel are good players. And they both go for teamplay at first place on a mini as far as I have seen. Ethaniel moans on minis? Yea, and so do like zillion other people including me though I am trying not to offend anyone. It is just damn hard to see teamplay guys bleed while some others go for k/d (which unfortunately current system encourages). Same hard as if you get DT wearing world drop green cloth (happened to me few days ago) and being not just terribly unhelpful, but actually helping the other team feeding them with kills so you can't even go for kills win and you fight with 5 vs 7 And Erathorn running away to survive? Everyone does that (almost) usually it is better to survive close to the team in map than run again from rezz alone. Or at least you kite out few k/d hunters. I saw Erathorn survive and out-kite Kalmatrix's frenzy hunt few days ago, and at that point of mini it helped us to score and win in the end.

I am the one who thinks that rangers should be a bit helpful not just with hunting clothies for kills. But also they are not frontline class for sure. I think the best teamplaying ranger I have seen was Tarte (SA). Always helped with CC when saw a low health teamplayer running rowards being hunted. Was even jumping to frontline to aoe stun or root and then keep hitting. Or carrying flag if needed. Tarte could do both, help to team and still get nice amount of kills.

Without any doubt rangers are one of the most OP classes in group-pvp. But yes, question is, if there are rangers on both sides, what will they contribute with to their teams for win? Pure k/d hunt is not enough.

I can't really speak for anyone else. But I often do Minigames with Erathorn and ofcourse these day's it totally pot luck if we actually get on the same team. But when that happens, nine times out of ten I'll be running the flag and Erathorn will he protecting my rear with air support <3

No offense but Ethaniel has always lacked many basic combat skills. He has easily the best gear and the best AA out there though.

I'm curious about which skills now XD I know i lack the skill to bug the positioning system of the server with the bunnyhopping exploit but aside for that I have (imho) what is needed.

The best gear has been hardly earnt when pvp was a seriuos business (namely pvp5 pre bori) and when DT was more gimped than ever. I recall no one here playing DT before 1.04 while all jumped on the bandwagon after 1.06 and after VoM of course XD

Best AA honestly earn with time and minigame and (small) pve so as far as we've been both playing since AA introduction, you should have same AA as me

Why are you all crushing down on Ethaniel, when it comes to teamplay he is the first soldier I would choose on AQ, excellent flagcarrier.

When it comes to individual skill (1v1) he does fine as well, even though as we all know Njordvandir is the best when it comes to csing.
