Walking across the gravel on the ground he looked upon the people passing him by carrying goods and other supplies. The itching in his lost eye couldn’t remove the pride he felt seeing them all prepare for the celebrations. Despite the hardships in the past and the horrors they all seen in wars and other happenings they still held their heads high. It was overdue some, he knew that, but sometimes reality of things changed even the best laid plans. The celebrations of the founding of the Fearghal an Dun was on the way at last. He watched the merchants come and go and finally sat down at the gate pondering how it came to be that this great family came together once. Athair Tyrnan laid the founding stone once and now he would carry on the work in his honor. He stood up and looked up in the blue sky and smiled. “I wished you could be here Athair.” He said into the air and then walked over to a young boy and helped him pick up a dropped bag of grain that was way too heavy for him. “Let me take this.” He said and the boy just looked confused watching the Triath carry his load over to the storage building.

OOC: Well, it’s a bit overdue (our official date is 5th of July) but due to several events colliding we decided to move it to the 10th of July. I changed to 10th as the slave market thing seems to be going off on 11th...

We will have a social gathering and some games for those that comes and just in general have a good time. Invites will be done by officers about an hour ahead of time. Starting time will be 21:00 CET / 20:00 UK (BST) on Saturday 10th of July.

Place: Lasheish plains.

Games will be a horse race from the Dun gate to Brandoc village and back. (From gate to the rezpad in Brandoc and back). The second game will be a traditional Cimmerian custom. Duel each other and the champion in the end will win. There will be cash prices for the winners. 5 Gold for the race winner and 10 gold for the duel winner.

Our Dun will have its gates open and you can RP and explore as you see fit during this event. Most of the social part will be held in our Tavern just outside the gates. Why not use a tavern if you got one? *smiles*

Just a reminder... the event takes place tomorrow (Saturday 10th)... 21:00 CET / 20:00 UK (BST) time...

Confirmed officers to be online for invites is:

All are welcome ofourse for whatever reason you might conjure up...

Updated the post slightly... (the above)... with contacts for tonights event...

Depending on the turnout (its hot as hell here in scandinavia) we will try the horse race first... if things go well we do the fights too... with some cash prices...

Not a huge amount but a few gold per winner...

Its a social RP folks so feel free to join and trash the place... ^^ (get drunk and behave like a monkey)... *grins*

Hahaha yea... come anyway you like...

Just another update too... cash prises are set..

Horse race is 5 gold for the winner.

Dueling is 10 gold for the winner.

Rules are simple... fight 2 and two... the winner in each fight moves on to next fight...

Horse race is even simpler... ride with "basic" horse to brandoc village and back (any route you like) and back to the Dun gate... first back wins...

We will have a spotter at the rezpad making sure you touch it or you will be out of the race...
