S&W, dont know if you missed the trapps !? wolf into trap, kill small wolfies !?
we get someone to kite(ToS, HoX, Demo have we used for this) the wolfie into a trap, aoe takes aggro of the small wolfies... run in with them to the meat, posion the meat... repeat redo and boss is down before the wolf gets loose from thirde trap...

for bat boss... as you said it yourself... Prot gear on... easy tanked.

I have handled the Wolf with my ToS on several occasions. The nice part with the instances in Khitai is that its no longer tank and spank fights but actually requires you to figure out the mechanics just as you would do in raid instances.

o yes.... been there, know the fight... but one mistake and you have to ress so damn long away and you just get bored of it.

S&W can be done with 1 if a conq can take some hits from wolfie while boss is tanked. Now for Batman ... the best fully T2 guard cant tank him without serious magic prot stuff. T1 DT has no probs, but what about the minis? So dont kid ppl that 1 tank is enough ... it just isnt. Perhaps a T3 guard can, an uber one to tank all alone... I have yet to meet one

"My" group have done the first boss with 1 tank only too. if you just use the traps it's not really hard to handle the wolf.

Also for the Batman what would you need two tanks for?

All the mobs in that fight ( expect the Tactician ) are CC'able when he summons mobs to help him he either summons 1 or 2.. most of the time 1 hehe with CC it's no problem at all

Apart from wolf hitting quite hard and unless a very good clothie (ToS dont count - has bubble that heals on dmg) and all works well .. ok

Batman with all the mini bats? isnt even their dmg .. ist so many of them that 1` tank on boss and ads ... well ..

Last boss cannot be solo tanked... maybe really really uber, but this isnt about the 20 ppl in the game who could do it ... its about 100,000 others who cant.

Erm... The last Boss is kitable by anyone... Unless you are doing it on HC mode (that requires 2 tanks) ANYONE can tank him if ppl is patient enough to stop firing if the tank needs to kite to recover some health.

The Batman requiring 2 tanks?!?... Erm... That Boss is an excersise of coordination between CC, AOE and controlling when you reach each 25% HP loss and under which circumstances.

IMO, in that instance, 2 tanks help a lot at Brass Mask, just too much things that can go wrong if you allow the fight to last too long... But I have done it with a single tank also anyway... Requires some patience, smart maneuvering and the, easily forgotten, "complex" skill of holding your DPS a bit when the tank is impaired.

Actually pillars last boss HM is doable with just 1 tank, anyone can tank one of the two bosses when both are up, and if neccesary maintank can kite the wolf if it hits too hard.

True that, we had a barb tanking the mirror boss without ever rly losing health, while the actual tank was kiting the real one.
