I’m trying to do the “Reinforcing the ward wall” quest.
Every time I do it and place all of the wards, I get told they’ve been damaged and I have to re-do it.

Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong?

It's a repeatable quest without coolown, you can do it as many times as you want (which usually ends up being once, maybe twice).
