Anyone has any experience duo'ing with 2 rangers?
Is it a viable option to be leveling with me and my friend both being rangers? Maybe one could go bow/dual wield and the other Xbow/shielded?


What is the look on this from the experienced rangers?

Lvl 49 here, I'm not having any problem soloing, mobs go down in 2 combos (salvo + heartseeker), I can take on 4-5 mobs of my level and survive, so 2 rangers would probably be an overkill and you would waste alot of combos

Second that. Though, 2x Bleeding Puncture = Mob dead in 99% of the tryes

Grouped with 2 rangers,assassin,pos,conqueror was fun and fast but started to become harder in closed crowded areas with lots of pops. A tank would have been handy.

Your friendship might become stressed, due to fighting over drops.

Though if you really want to play the same character, then ranger is probably the best choice, especially for pvp.

2 rangers is often very nice combo for regular quests and similar. In pvp you dont want to cross 2 rangers unless you really take them by suprise.

I been duoing with a teammate of mine for a while and it went very smooth compare to when you group with melee classes since you usualy take agro and a ranger dont mind if the mob is moving with snare.

But its a matter of adapting I think, to answer your question yes they duo very fine. But then I think most classes go well togther. Its just a matter of taking the best of the classes and find a good working combination.

as 2 rangers you will prob kill anything before it reaches you so just spec with what you find is what you like to fight with.
