Does any one know if its worth it. According to Germeins guide it's an absolute must for PvE. Supposed to remove shield when it procs (which is often). On mobs and bosses shields are more of an factor. I tried it but Im not positive if it works for à pure PvE build.

tbh ive never looked much at it but i do always feat it if i am pure pve spec but if im hybrid pve/pvp then i dont and i must say i dont do anywhere near the damage so it may very well have an impact. ill get around to testing it one of these days

Probably for PvE a (maybe) must, but than all the way including piercing stance, piercing shots, shattering shots. For a PvP Setting i cannot afford the points if I want linebreaker and boobytrap.

Still and up at the same lvl as demo's/necro's on the damage meter, but these are also PvP orientated.

its no longer worth the points imo, I speced it pre 1.05 but don't now.

Sounds like no one knows if it works or does any good .

I have had this spec on testlive. I did not notice much difference. Problem is that damage output is rather random and hard to back up with stats unless you go for 100 - 1000 identical stuations and put it all in a spreadsheet.

it works and is good to have for a full PvE no PvP build, but cant afford it if you PvP at all.

Ok since moving over to a PvP server I have decided to tweak my build a bit since people are very bubble happy over here, I decided to pick up the piercing line (aside from the stance) and been having pretty good success with it in world PvP and minis. having absolute precision, doesn't do a whole lot when you look at it just from your shots but allowing everyone else in the group to benefit from it makes it a nice feat to have, though the cooldown blows big time.

I have also decided to pick up ricochet again and am having quite a bit of success with it, I have sacrificed most the general tree but managed to keep EB and have lost EA. with having those handicaps I'm still rather successful, besides most classes that can CC lock you will keep you locked regardless of CC breaks. It sure isnt a dueling spec but not a lot of dueling goes on on Cimmeria, and what dueling does go on is usually soldiers and casters.

Hah. Perhaps I should have stayed. However, the late nights were killing me.

Also, my ping to EU servers is better by about 180.
