There will always be complaints about ranged combat in a melee based game. Think that the ranger is very balanced that way in the way that most of our CC are already melee based and most melee can charge us. Primairy use of our CC is disengage and gain range again, like it seems to be intended for casters also.

Next step; combo sytems for casters also.

that would remove the whole reason Funcom added casters to the game to begin with, Funcom seems to be slowly fixing the caster vs melee imbalance, but caster should remain a non combo class for the players that are not able to effectively play combo classes (remember some people are disabled and have a much harder time playing a combo class).

That's the whole point of casters an alternative to combos, the problem is Funcom made them OP on top of it so not only was it easier to play/master they also have to many OP abilities, so fix the OPness and fix the problem, they don't need to be easy and OP, they can just be easy as intended. I personally hope they do something about pet issues my self (targeting issues specifically) right after they come up with a real permanent solution to the stamina issue.

Funny thing is that this stamina "fix" for casters doesn't help us at all, but we are soon to see massive whining and crying from people to nerf rangers and our only true ranged cc - kb, which can be avoided by doubletapping anywhere

It´s an improvement and I´m looking forward to it - but casters will still have higher and AOE-damage, forcing us to go near them anyways in many situations

I don't think the stamina pot issue will have any effect on PvP what so ever, It doesn't even come close to addressing the stamina issue, not sure what Craig was thinking with this one, he obviously looks for solutions no one else suggests. And I really don't see them nerfing Ranger CC since our ranged ones are used with a ranged weapon, but you never know with Funcom, but I'm sure the QQ will be rampant, there was already one douche on US forms crying for a Ranger nerf to ranged CCs just for the simple fact that his class was gonna get nerfed.

Anubium has never actually been good at the game. Raid only healbot, enjoys pressing 2 buttons in minigames and feeling uber.

The thing about playing both EU and US is that I know everyone.

Of course, the low population which makes it possible is probably not a good thing.

If this is indeed the idea behind it, than there is a disconnect between game design and game development. I can fully understand the desire for an easier to play class. But as soon as the classes are given this much power, they should be as difficult to play as other classes. There are a lot of solutions possible to achieve this, combining the combo system with these powerful spells could be one. Idea is than: use of combos leads to high damage, no combo's just easy mode with lower damage. Even stamina use can be connected to the combo system (no stamina no combo no highe damage).
