Thank you for the event and gratz to the Winners. We got the best of both worlds. Some of the best PVPers and the RPers all pleased with the same event.

The logistics worked, some think it was a bit slow, but I think Balorac did a wonderful job keeping the battles going. Most people, stayed IC, and with the forgiveness of some remarks in shouts.

Thank you to all those who contributed. Black Market, Set Mosis, and all the contesters.

Myself I screwed up any chance of doing any thing, stayed in walk mode in the battle, and got the short straw from the rules, where a DPS DT normally have 6 buffs running, + food + pots. My opponent was skilled, something I am not. Now I can walk around and be sad as I could not win for Imoteph, fighting for him. And sad I could not impress Balorac.

As a "core" RPer I did not get much RP as such. I still was IC all the time, and even if I took the job to pester Global and answer any PMs, send all the rules script. I still had a good RP experience. The proud and confident warriors feeling the arena sand in their hands, the nervous ones like me, those who wanted to show the world they could fight, those like me who wanted to impress a man or a lady, for glory, honor and money. The hour was long, the heat and the musk. Staying down there as a girl was a blast.

Enjoyed the fight with you jackal, albeit I was hoping to fight someone at or near my own pvp lvl at least in the first fight. Oh well, can't make 'em all happy ^_^

Einsof, my friend, as I have explained the PVP levels were not taken into account with the teaming. That was completely random.

But let's put this one up for discussion:
Going forward do we fix the fights by teaming opponents with a similar PVP level, or do we keep it completely in the hands of lady Fortuna, random that is?

Random.
Because if you start teaming for levels then soon you will get people saying you placed sertain people against classes they cant beat.

If you got a low level fighting a high level then be sure to have a higher level next time as well. And besides. There are many that dont even pvp in their pvp gear. Especially in the melee side. Since pvp gear mostly helps against magic.
