I did approx 1200 on A-B with a Offhand hybrid build this tuesday. I got lol-raped by SiL before the good stuff in Lotus kicked in a max effect (died at 25%). With two good knives (I had only blues at that time) and survival through the entire fight it should be possible to break 1300.

"Rating stats will scale with level, meaning that if you do not improve your equipment the effect of the stat will go down as you level."

Can you pls explain that more in detail. Does that mean that if, say, lvl 80 character equips a lvl 78 weapon or armor (culture armor is iirc some level 78), the bonuses on that weapon or armor will be scaled down? By how much?

When you level up, the stats you get from an item's ratings go down. This is (among other things) to allow for the level cap to be raised without item progression having to through the roof.

A question please:

If any step's animation has more than one hit (playing a Conqueror, got redirected here from newcomer's forum, but I guess sins have animations with more than 1 hit too), do the total damage split evenly among each hit?

Let's say I have a 100 DPS weapon and a combo's finisher has a +200 DPS. The finisher's animation has 3 attacks. Does the total 300 DPS split evenly, granting each hit in the animation a 100 DPS value?

No, in this case with combo finisher every hit is based on the 300 DPS value. (Well, maybe, the formula posted by FC gives the impression that it's calculated for the whole finisher. How the damage is distributed per hit is unknown, it might be related to animation length of the individual hits as speculated upon earlier in this thread.)

However, there's a certain damage variation at play so you might see a result that is much higher or much lower, but on average it should even out to your DPS + some fancy magic maths regarding crit rating/crit damage rating/hit rating.

if in AoC one roll table, than +crit chance can displace miss chance?
upd
oh, cant cuz it penetrate evade chance.
but crit can displace glancing hits?
"Precise Strikes" work as combat raiting? +41 armor penetration= +41 combat raiting?

If I remember correctly (can't for the life of me find the dev post on TL right now) the whole hit/glancing vs evade/immunity calculation is done in a single roll.

The crit/critigation roll is done after this so you can actually crit a glancing hit. Guess it's kinda like a freak accident of glancing on some armor part and then chopping of an ear or something.


Regarding armor penetration this post from TL should clear this up:
