Default Bigger Buff icons

Hey there
I found this 3d http://forums.ageofconan.com/showthread.php?t=176872 on the US forum, its very useful for any pvper so I suggest using this trick.
What actually bothers me is that it doesn't work at all for me. I followed the instructions and didn't miss anything, checked everything but still doesnt work.
Anyone to help me? :\

EDIT: forgot the link lol

Perhaps you should provide some more information about which thread you refer to and what you tried to do which didn't work.

Anyways...

Your own debuff-icons can be found in "Default\Views\HUD\CharPortraitLeft.xml",
copy this file to "Customized\Views\HUD\CharPortraitLeft.xml" and edit it if you wanna change something.

Your target's buff/debuff-icons can be found in "Default\Views\HUD\CharPortraitRight.xml", copy this file to "Customized\Views\HUD\CharPortraitRight.xml" and edit it if you wanna change something.
One typical mod is to show both buff and debuff for your target instead of just buffs.
filter = "friendly | hostile"

Your own buff-icons can be found in "Default\Views\HUD\HUDView.xml", copy this file to "Customized\Views\HUD\HUDView.xml" and edit it if you wanna change something. You're probably looking for the section with
BuffListView name="HudFriendlyBuffListView"

It's pretty straightforward to increase the icon_size params and whatever params to your needs.

When you're done, just type: /reloadui

Or the easy way:
Get AOC UI Installer and tweak the setting from it.
It only requires that you have the files stated above in the Custom directory.
They will be there if you use a custom UI.
