Just thought I would bring this to the attention of FC, at the moment on live a lot of people from the UK are getting really heavy lag spikes, much more than the norm. It would seem our Scandinavian mates are not having these issues at all.

I've been on-line for about an hour and it has not stopped going from normal ping up to 1k and beyond and the lads on vent are having the same problems and we are on different isp.

I play from Sweden and I get these lagspikes also.
A few others in my guild as well.

Getting latency spikes also, all night, jumps from 97 to 4000, every 20 seconds or so, the game is unplayable, its NOT an isp issue, ventrilo is constantly at 43ms when the game is spiking. This needs to be sorted.

I have the same issue, I had to miss a whole nights raiding tonight because my ping goes 4k+ and I seem to lag behind everyone (events that happened 10 minutes ago are only just happening on my screen). When I relog or restart the game and log in, it takes an age on reading content and if I do get back in I still have high latency and cant do anything.

Was playing fine all day with no problems. Can play Call of Duty online with a normal ping, Ventrillo is working absolutely fine its just AoC!

Compltely frustrated.

oh, and my brother is next door raiding fine in WoW.. makes me sick.

I get them too. I had a tight situation at kyllikki because one of these. I did my shatter and then i noticed i was lagging badly. I was still lagging when it was about to need to go shatter again but as a miracle the long "spike" ended and i did manage to go do my shatter. But it was like that all night so i realy hope this is being look at.

I would also like to say that this spiking has been a problem for a long time. Something has been done to it few times but as it still exists i'm looking forward for a decent fix that would free us from this problem.

Yeah, as Blutti said this has been happening a while... Ive missed many sieges and raids because of it, completely lost my patience with it now.. someone needs to respond about this.

I had the same problem as Argonitee for 4-5days, ive never had any problems with my latency before...
It's very annoying and really hard to enjoy or just play this game until this problem exists. I hope FC do something with it in the near future bcoz i start to loose my patience.

Yes - having the same issue on the Crom server for the past couple of weeks.

I have been having this for almost 4 weeks now and here is the response I got from their support
