Mirage is starting to show its age after lack of updates.

People keep logging in and needing help so here it is in one easy to link to post:


1. The patch has deleted Mirage (and indeed any other custom ui) as part of its ruthless spring-cleaning of your game files, so you may need to get it again.

2. Manually Installing: The patch has changed the folder previously named 'cd_image' to 'data', so the install method in the readme file won't work.

Choose which version of the ui you want in the bundle (AoC_Conan_MirageUI_v1.72\cd_image\Gui) and rename its folder to Customized

Copy the contents of AoC_Conan_MirageUI_v1.72\cd_image\Gui\Customized

to Age of Conan\Data\Gui\Customized

Copy the folder 'MirageUI' in AoC_Conan_MirageUI_v1.72\cd_image\Gui\Default\gfx

to Age of Conan\Data\Gui\Default\gfx

3. Download and run 'ByCrom' gui patcher.
Make sure that you have this latest version: http://aoc.curse.com/downloads/aoc-a...ls/bycrom.aspx

4. Mirage should now be correctly installed. HOWEVER
The socialGUI component of mirage is broken and causes a crash. So:

Go to: Age of Conan\Data\Gui\Customized\Views

Delete the folder 'socialgui' (or rename it e.g. 'miragesocialgui')

The default will now be used for this element, it isn't much different.

Edit: Global chat does not seem to have the right collor, do you have a solution for this?

Yes this worked BUT i have the following errors :

No background on gui, now clear with missing buttons
My targeted and my own health, mana etc.. bars are all blacked out.

I have the 2bar gui

Make sure the gfx files are correctly installed.

This folder should be present and full of stuff:

Age of Conan\Data\Gui\Default\gfx\MirageUI

If not, copy it in from the Mirage bundle.

I've got the same problem, using small 3bar.

Just checked and i didn't have that folder in default. Just put it in and i'll try it when i can get back on, getting error 11 (char still logging out) now ¬¬

My problem is: Questtracker no longer showing...

I also see that the combotimers are way off in left corner. Any solution?
