The Free City of Lochlainn still recruits casual players!
Hardcore raiders and PvP'er will be bored in a weeks’ time in our guild, so we don't bother to recruit them.
The Free City of Lochlainn is the oldest guild on EU servers created especially for Age of Conan. The guild, coined "The guild that is not a guild" by it's founder Tarib (now lost to Funcom) was created to offer players a place to be, who didn't have the urge to join the race for fame, fortune and e-peen but still wanted to get the benefits of a guild. The core is still there, though : you will get access to a group of casual, mature players with lots of humor and guts, who don't demand much of you - no demand to join raid, no demand to gather, not even demands to chat with us - but still offer those things if YOU want to take part in it. What kind of guild doesn't challenge their members, you might ask? Well, it's a guild that was created on pre-beta forums in April 2006, and kept going through the years
If we don't demand much (except from time to time a small donation to the guild coffin to continue to build our city), what can we offer?
Well, here's what:- guild city in Poitain, full T3 – Guild renown 20
- Mature but fun citizens, some call us the geezer guild (average age just under 40, oldest being way into the 50's or 60's, we don't know for sure)
- Raids once a week (atm), and additional opportunities through our network.
- Lots of advice, free stuff (we share items, resources etc. that we find and don't use ourselves, so lots of nice stuff might come your way)
- Jokes, banter, company, friendliness, group stuff and fun
- Forums for information, fun and lots of bulls****
- We also runs a guild bot, where you can !beer anytime you want to.
