some ppl are just hilarious.you want to revamp the whole damage mitigation mechanism because you dont want to equip physical combatrating .GL

my ranger's dots are ok since i use khitai rings over t3 rings ,khitai cloak over hoc cloak and khitai necklace over t3 necklace.those are available for every class so stop the nonsense qq about nothing.

PS: rangers dots dont crit. maybe change that if we qq without thinking.


cr is working perfectly so far PHYISICAL >ARMOR MAGICAL>PROTECTION.why the hell a physical damage type should increase by adding magical?. AND HOW WILL DOTS BE MITIGATED AFTER THAT? the OP just proves again why aoc community fails and why the devs that are listening to players fail.

Having to choose between hitting protection with ur combat rating or buffing ur dots, its a very good mechaning, especially in T3 you are probably better dps with full eletrical combat rating anyways.

the point here is that its combat rating, and not a completely different source. lets say dots where affect by magic dps, and i wud be silenced. what ure joke regarding dt issent relevant since its a completely diffenent ball game.
i am getting jade ring to make some comparingson. and the effect we talk about with magic CR for dots is a realy minor bosst in the dps, very small so cant see any point it shuddent be like that. and pvp wise its totaly irrelevent since all pvp items is much better then any of the mentioned items (exept manical harm) so lets say the conc wud gain 0,02% boost in pvp by this change.

just a guess is my bb dot wud get like 5 more dps from the changes on a dot that ticks around 400-500 if i where using the top dps gear. if the magic combat rating affected it

There is an Advantage of using magical combat rating, and also a downside to it. You either get a minor DPS boost by hitting protection instead armor, or you get a minor boost hitting harder with your dot's. I actually think it would be more fun to make this system more relevant.
