How do you survive??i feel like cannon fodder from all classes,i can get kills etc but it feels like you have to have a good team to do good or you dead right away,necro dots crits are insane and assasin kill me in 5sec with no chance to damage him?

The key is not to survive but do enough dps to make the other one run ... or if that fails , you still got 2 self rez

There is no surviving a Sin attack, they eat mages. Well, apart from perking From the Beyond and hellstepping around.

Necro crits after they die cus they go rez and go SW and dots still stay attached to other for 30 secs.

All in all, HoX needs skills, gear and AA to shine. Or you can just forget all that and go nuts for a laugh. No retreat, no surrender ... die and self-rez .. .that's the way of the HoX.

stay close to your team/Healer. don't bother with red shadows go for From the Beyond that way you can get to them before they get to you. and remember phoenix cloak saves your ass :P

Stay close to the team, you're after all not e.g. a guard that can do their own thing solo without getting one/two shotted.

Primarily protect healer (also easier to get heals then) and ranged, it will also make it easier for you to one/two shot e.g sins that attack those people.

Try to often use CCs to help your team, not just to farm poeple. Also fear is awesome when someone tries to pickup flag (without shield of the risen ofc) or when you're not focused and can save your healer/flag carrier.

Kite, kite and kite some more when needed.

Edit:
Use molten flesh wisely, phoenix when you don't need to move too much with its snare (and no enemy necro around) and don't forget cold protection when facing necro (it's not just unholy dots from decent ones).

Thx for the tips guys did adjust a little with my build and it works better now,still a pain when facing many classes but hopfully gets a bit better when i get better gear

Molten Flesh is awesome, so many noob demos that will mindlessly waves of flame and heal you back up to full HP

But yeah, HoX is mostly a get in and get out when you start getting focused class, the big thing imo is remembering to pull out of combos if you have to. Better to lose some damage and go heal up than to die because you wanted to finish the HS combo for example.

As for perks, from the beyond is really good, or the Pillars stun is pretty handy also. Red Shadows provides no use, PoT is average at best.
