The reward is perfect! The dungeon is very easy and fast - I assume it is for new players. Veterans may get something as well soon, but let new players have something too! Also, there is a nice combat rating DPS cloak (+380 Combat Rating, +criticals)!!! It is good for DPS DTs, Barbarians, Assassins, Avatar Heralds of Xotli, and DPS Guardians.

This dungeon is NOT easy and its certanly NOT for newbies without equip. The bosses are hitting tanks pretty hard. Only the fight mechanics are too easy (I mean dumb ). There should be 3 rares droping from the last boss, otherwise there is no reason for coming back even for new player. Easy HMs Flame/vortex/palace offer much more rewards rare/epic loot wise - so ppl will still do that run more often.
Especially now - remember that all easy dungeons in NM offer 1 rare reward. So there is really zero motivation to go there.

In it's current form I don't think The Breach Normal Mode is going to be too popular. If we compare it to Pagoda/Flame/Vortex NM:

The Breach NM
AA exp: 200k
Rare Tr: 1
Loot: 4-5 blue items incl. some new accessories.
Road Symbols: 1-2

Pagoda/Vortex/Flame NM
AA exp: 400-450k(incl. AA from the new quests)
Rare Tr: 3
Loot: 10-15 blue itmes.
Road Symbols: 3-6


The rewards are just so much better in Pagoda/Vortex /Flame, that most people will prefer it, and once the novelty of The breach is gone I think it will be hard to get groups for it.

I think it's great that they make a dungeon for new players, but the rewards need to be intresting enough to go there.

Maybe if the last boss in the breach dropped 1xDungeon Rank 3 armor, and 1xDungeon Rank 2 armor it would be more popular. Those Rank 1 dungeon armors also drop lots in the NG dungeons.

In my experience, the only run in the Breach was finished very fast, and no one was even close to dying with a PUG with Hoskuldr...

No. Increase it in the Breach to be on par with rest of the game. Is it one thing a game with low population needs, its more grind!

Did you tried not to have the adds killed by you but everyone of them by the boss? I was in there once, but sadly our POM fatalied one and since the reward as well as the fights was nothing to talk about, I´m not sure whether I can get 5 more peeps to join me there again (who are not too trigger happy that is).

Disclaimer: I have no idea if there actually exists a HM for Breach, but i also tried a lot including clicking on the door by mistake midfight and leaving the bloody instance^^

Hoskuldr is FAR from being a noob and his PUGs are in 99% cases made up of experienced PPLs
