Maybe Funcom is revamping the Hox so that Int. also influences BTD damage...I know but one can dream, right?^^

They went the Dimmu Borgir way (Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia, Death Cult Armageddon, Enthrone Darkness Triumphant etc.)

HoC names are very setting-specific - it's a bit different naming scheme than raid gear, but it tells a story about the refugees... if you can associate the words with the lore

T4 is more clear:
Outer Dark, Strange Beyond - CM lore
Scattered Gods, Thousand Blossoms, Dragon King - Khitai lore
Indomitable, Courageous, Fearless - pretty generic
Heaven Cracker Earth Breaker, Horizon's Severing Divide - those are referring to the Black Crater
Yun's Crow-Beaked Kisses - crows eating corpses, Yun as god of death and decay
Ring of Profane Knowledge, Ring of Impossible Secrets - CM again

etc.

Each of those names can be explained if you're a gigantic nerd. Some may sound strange, but IMO this matches the weird stuff we're dealing in Khitai.

Cang-Jei's Serrated Gibe? That one's obvious - Cang-Jei is known as a trickster and a wiseguy, how else could you call his blade?
Death Harp of Nine Stars? Harp, because it has a string and Nine Stars is from feng shui.
Laughing Auspices of the Celestial? Pretty generic name for priest gear.
Tickler of the Autumn Night? Poetic.
Tongue of the Eight-Way Wyrm? Yamato no Orochi? No he's Japanese, need to google more...

Silent Lullaby - silent, like death. Lullaby? Maybe it's related to that baby in the other room Or maybe it's just a generic name for a dagger.
Wound-hoe of Picts Ruin - obviously a clever name for something used to kill Picts.
Stillforged Salvation of the Undying Atlantis, Impenetrable World of Valka, Heart of Atlantis - obvious stuff.

Yes, I'm lame - but still it's nothing special, just exotic lore related.
