Yes, you raised a good point here.

I have seen guards with almost 20k of life, with the protection rings/necklace/cloack/sword/shield, around 58% of total protection, while i need to use all the dps rings/.../..., 15k of life, less than 40% of total protection, ... to be able to enter into the TA rotation, and ofc, i only can survive to 3 hits.

P.D: And i use the pots for +732 combat rating, +183 critical rating, +25 str & +135 critical rating.

Tier 3 doesn't need that many tanks, and thus of course you're bound to have "boring" job from time to time.

Brothers and HK can do with a decent amount of tank so there is no issue there.

Arbanus needs 3 tanks, and silly is the RL using something else than DT there, unless he wants to reduce the amount of dps his dps can do. If only 2 DT, conq or guardian, no difference, only goad will get them into rotation.

Louhi, no sane RL would use something else than 1 guardian there due to the insane aggro burst he will dish out (STA + Hateful + Call to Arms, Louhi locked for 1 minute, all you need to kill him).

Keeper : RL can use any combination of 3 tank. Conq if the conq is good enough, DT or guards otherwise.

TA : every tank should tank.

So unfortunately, as you can notice, apart from Louhi, conq and guards are in the same wagon for T3, 4 encounters to be tanked, rest is boring job, but that would be silly to reduce a class to T3. There is much more to discover in T4, and brute conq can definitely do good job there.

in my guild where all heavy highend geared. the conc have very little space in tank rotation. the dt, with cobination of t4, t3,5 and khitai armor for max dps, max hate for allowing dps classes go full nuke a conc cant find spot in rotation unless using goat. but since u give boss a goat cd. it shud be keept in reserve. alittle sad since alot of moments in t4 gives realy nice situations for conc brute. OTO grapping insain mobs. the offtank spots there can be handled aswell with carnage, where ure dps will be much better for raid then brute. especialy zodaik where every little dps counts.
in t3 the keeper can be done good by conc, since the agro range is lower, for alot of agro switch. Thot is not great sicne so hard magic dps and agein the full agro generating guards and dt´s for keeping sw casters with full sc gear and crafted dagger. and sins with double t3 craft and full bb set gear alive.

Correct, that's the same as I do.

As far as I've figured out, one gigantic problem is that the item budget of 2he+armor for brute conq is too small when compared to guards and dts.

The conq 2he is a truly ridiculous weapon regardless of tier. The barb 2he is much better for conqs, but, assuming you can get one, then you're boned again because of lower health/armor.

That was, to some extent, handled by having class bound armors in tier 1-2. Tier 3 was a freeride for guards, while conqs got royally screwed with the VE set. Guards got a huge item budget increase with +1000ish prot. Conqs got, well, something between zero and nil.

They tried duct taping that by adding the BD set, but look at the numbers: It's guard t2 + prot + some dps. And token price is 50% higher, so I think I've gathered my last BD set in this game. It's not worth spending so much extra time in t3.

For t3.5 and t4, we're screwed since they're not class bound. All tanking soldiers will be wearing the same kit, and the uselessness of the brute conq will be even bigger.
