I'm in awe of these news.
Personally i like Skyrims combat better than AoC's, no combos, no "click-click-click" spells (of course, a mousebutton for a fireball must be present).
Block with shield on right mouse, attack with left, hold for a burst of fire, aim before you shoot...

Depends if it will be in mmo also...if it will then I could try it but I am afraid it will be another wow/swtor type of attack

it will have same combat system like gw2 when you read news

same dodge system and same limited abilities per weapon you use(can swap it like gw2)

and when read all news its not a wow clone its more an gw2 clone - but thats fine for me casue what i saw last weekend in gw2 beta i just love it and to see it have already an impact on upcoming MMOs is best we can hope for

-Three factions
--Ebonheart Pact: Nords, Dunmer, Argoanion
--Aldmeri Dominion: Altmer, Bosmer, Khajiit
--Daggerfall Covenant: Orcs, Redguards, Bretons

-The Imperials are "badguys" who work with the Tharn family, and Manimmarco. Manimmaro is selling everyone out to Molag ball.

-120 hours to reach level cap

-The game has a hubless quest system

-Werewolf plauge quest chain

-Your Character has had his soul taken by Molag ball, which is why you can come back to life if you "die"

-They use some of GW2's mechanics were your weapons determine some of your skills. There is also doddging, skill combos, and other GW2isy things.

-Enemies can also do combos with eachother, and have all the blocking/parrying/dodging skills you can use.

-Fully voiced NPCs

-A radiant AI system

-Mundus stones that work in the same way as guardian stones in Skyrim

-Crafting, alchemy, and soul-gems are in the game

-Mounts

-Wayshrine fast travel

-Dont expect to get a litany of overpowered Daedric artifacts

-Can join guilds

-Helping guilds unlocks skills

-Cyrodiil is a giant three way PVP zone

-Can become emperor

-Cannot become Vampire/Werewolf, No player housing, no Player/NPC romance, most likely no dragons

heroengine isnt bad - you shouldnt judge it cause swtor failed

swtor failed cause some design flaws and was rushed

it had no fokus on beeing a good game it fokused on license(star wars)and entertainment (full voiced story) and they thought this would be enough to be a good game

they dont tried to make a good game they tried only to "sell" a product - thats all

heroengine is good and it is only a tool

see it as a creation kit to make a game and for this it is atm the best on market

and when the User suck to use a tool you cant blame the tool you have to blame the user

Well, you cant say wow/swtor type of attack, but you can say nearly every MMO which isnt AoC type attack.

Oh, another title to ignore then - Guild Wars 2 PvP and PvE (lore and graphics as well) are horrible, in my opinion. That is good (and might be sad for some) that no other game can beat Age of Conan.

I think when they release diablo 3 pvp it will be better than what you have nowadays in aoc ;-)
