<<Age of Conan - I can't find the start icon for the game, just this one for "XFire"!>>
Answer: In compliance with the "Games for Windows" standard, our icon is placed in your Games Explorer menu. Please look at your start menu, and look for "Games" then "Games Explorer". You should see Age of Conan there.
<<Launcher Message: Authentication Failure>> (Conan Only)
This error indicates that the authentication servers could not verify your account. If you have received this message, please make sure that you are entering your username and password correctly at the login screen. Passwords are case sensitive.
If your login information is correct, then it is possible that your account is frozen due to the expiration of playtime, cancellation, a failed payment, or a suspension. To check the status of your account perform the following steps:
1) Log in at
https://register.ageofconan.com
2) Click the “View my Subscription”
3) Click your Conan subscription
Your account status will be shown in the center of the page.
Accounts with the status of “Frozen” are unable to be played until they are reactivated and/or any pending/failed payment transactions are cleared.
Accounts with the status of “Cancelled” that are still shown as playable will be able to log in until the end of their current subscription cycle.
Accounts with the status of “Banned” will be unable to log in until the expiration of their suspension.
If your account shows as “Playable” yet you are still not able to log in, please reply back to this message with the error Authentication Failure Error Code displayed
